Decks, hands and cards on the table
Create a deck, draw cards and control when their faces become visible.

Prepare a deck
The GM creates deck definitions and playable deck instances. A definition is a reusable setup; an instance carries the current draw pile, hands and discard state. Use names and front/back images you are authorized to distribute to your group.
Open the cards workspace and create the deck with its cards and optional images.
Create the playable instance where the workflow offers a reusable definition.
Shuffle the draw pile before play if your game needs random order.
Draw to a hand, the scene/table or chat using the destination controls.
Check the result with a second account before drawing secret information during play.
Decks contain 1–500 cards. One draw requests 1–50 cards, and the pile must contain enough eligible cards for the entire request.
Manage a hand
A hand belongs to its recipient. Its owner can inspect its faces. Cards placed in a scene expose their fronts only when revealed; other viewers receive the concealed representation. A GM may draw for another campaign member. Having access to a deck does not disclose every other person's hand.
Owners and the GM can use the supported actions to place, take, flip, move, give, discard or return cards. Watch the destination and face state when moving from a private hand to the public table.
Understand chat and reset
Cards drawn to chat create a durable message attachment containing public faces only. Later flipping or moving a live card does not retroactively turn that stored public attachment into a secret. Review the audience before using chat for a draw.
Shuffle randomizes the remaining draw pile. Reset returns the deck's cards to the draw pile, clears owners and scene positions and hides faces; it changes the whole active deck. Use it between rounds only when everyone agrees the current hands can end.
If a draw fails for insufficient cards, inspect draw/discard counts instead of repeating the same request. If a card cannot move, check its owner, scene and current revision.
